We are thrilled to introduce two remarkable additions to our wine collection: Dolio and Cornamus. Crafted specifically for La Place in Bordeaux, these wines highlight our commitment to quality and tradition. We are among a select group of hand-picked wineries in Spain qualified to feature our creations at La Place, making this a momentous occasion for us.

BUT WHAT EXACTLY IS LA PLACE DE BORDEAUX?
Often described as the world’s most influential wine marketplace, La Place is a centuries-old distribution system that connects top wineries with international wine merchants and collectors. Originally developed in the 17th century to promote Bordeaux’s grand châteaux, it has since expanded to include a carefully chosen circle of prestigious wines from across the globe. Each year, some of the world’s finest labels are released “on La Place,” giving them access to a vast network of négociants and ensuring their presence in key markets worldwide.
For a winery to be invited onto La Place is both an honor and a recognition of quality; it means joining a global stage where only a select few are showcased. With Dolio and Cornamus now part of this tradition, we are proud to share our wines alongside some of the most esteemed names in the world of fine wine.
DOLIO: A TRIBUTE TO TRADITION AND TERROIR
Dolio is a testament to our 40 years of hard work and dedication to reviving the steep hills of Doade and Abeleda. These picturesque terraces, noted for their extreme gradients, were abandoned after the Spanish Civil War. We have passionately dedicated ourselves to restoring these lands since our project's beginning, transforming them into productive vineyards once again.
This wine is a blend of some of our most indigenous grape varieties, perfectly capturing the intense minerality inherent in our unique terroir. With each sip, you'll experience the complexity of the grapes sourced from our two most iconic vineyards, showcasing the rich heritage of our wine-making practices.
CORNAMUS: CELEBRATING INDIGENOUS VARIETIES
Cornamus embodies our commitment to recovering local white grape varieties, with an emphasis on the exceptional Godello. For the past 45 years, we have focused on preserving the distinct identity of this grape, which is known for its ability to convey the freshness and balance of our terroir.
In crafting Cornamus, we wanted to maintain Godello as the star of the show, supported by the minerality of our granite and quartz soils. Our approach was to minimize intervention, allowing the wine to express its inherent elegance as it rested in our oldest foudres. The result is a stunning wine that exemplifies our landscape's potential, reflecting decades of dedication to reviving our winemaking history.
