ALGUEIRA RISCO is a wine created 100% with the autochthonous variety Merenzao from various plots with orientations to the southwest. Depending on the vintage, it is made with a percentage of feet pressed grapes. Very short macerations and aging time around 12 months in French oak barrels of 225 liters. The delicacy of this wine begins to show in the visual phase, with a very low layer of cherry color. On the nose, the pomace, the cherry or even the cherry liqueur with evident balsamic notes (cedar and nutmeg) predominate. On the palate, its aromatic delicacy tricks us, since it leaves us a balanced, almost silky step, with a very ripe tannin and a crispy finish.
